I am the Work Experience Enterprise Coordinator for the Somerset Careers Hub.  It is my responsibility to support schools in the development of their work experience programmes, ensuring all young people have access to meaningful and high-quality work experience in line with the Government’s Work Experience Guarantee.

I have over 15 years’ experience working across secondary and further education, including business engagement and the delivery of in-school careers and employability workshops and assemblies, building and maintaining strong partnerships throughout. I am also the Careers Link Trustee for a secondary school in Taunton.

There are some truly amazing opportunities right here on our doorstep in Somerset, and I am passionate about ensuring every young person has the knowledge, tools, and confidence to access them through an inclusive, high-quality careers education.

When not working, I can usually be found out and about with my 2 miniature schnauzers on a beach or somewhere on the Somerset Levels.
