Cassie Lewis

I am the Project Management Apprentice within the Somerset Careers Hub. I mainly work on the Future Ready Fund project; however I occasionally support with other projects mainly with in person events.

As I am an apprentice, I do not have much experience surrounding my role. My main previous work experience has been within a retail supervisor role, though this had helped me develop relevant soft skills I came into this role with very limited direct experience.

I had struggled with finding a career path that suited and interested me, especially after college. Therefore, working with the Careers Hub is an incredible opportunity as I get to know the work I do every day is directly helping inspire young people and shine a light on the vast range of careers and pathways available to them!

In the evenings or weekends you can find me working on one of my cars, at a gig or at the pub with my partner.
